Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity Unveils New Strategic Plan

June 23, 2016

AEA Consulting congratulates Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity on completing its new strategic plan which coincided with the launch of its new identity. Together these reflect the organization’s renewed mission and vision as one of Canada’s leading arts, culture, and educational institutions and conference centres.

AEA was commissioned to facilitate the plan, conducting an assessment of the organization and the opportunities and challenges ahead of it; leading stakeholder consultations with Board, management and external funders; facilitating a series of meetings to generate consensus around the mission, vision, and strategic priorities of the organization; outlining the organizational and financial implications of those priorities; and developing a robust implementation plan.

The year-long process culminated with the Board’s endorsement of the plan and the launch of the new identity. An overview of the plan can be found here

AEA will continue to work closely with Banff Centre, and with internationally-established cultural leader Russell Willis Taylor, recently appointed by Banff Centre to oversee leadership programs, on the development of an international executive-level arts leadership program at the Centre
